Fortunately,our produce group found the microcosmic sight of these “golden memorial archways” by accident on the well of Moni Hall in Longxing Temple. These “golden memorial archways” are carved on the royal temple’s roof.The girth of Zhending city is miles which indicates is arranged by ancient people deliberately. About the reason of choosing this number,some one gave this kind of explaination:There are 4gates built in Zhengding’s city wall which symbolised seasons .Maybe people presented to this city to show the rules of solar terms in seasons. These beautiful wishes were also shown on the structure of this ancient city’s 9 pavilions. This photo of “Yanghe building”was took in 1933 by Chinese famous architect—Liang Sicheng.

If those 2 boys were still alive ,they must be in their 80s.Zhang Yongbo made a decision to look for those 2boys near the heritage of ’Yanghe building’. The interview:How old are you ? I’m 89 years old.Some one took 2 photos in front of ’Yanghe building’ 80 years ago .Do you recognise these boys ? Yes ,at that time ,we were young and ater working and supper,we just climed on that biulding. Wang Huangcheng who is 89 years old this year,lived biside the ’Yanghe building’at that time.He often went to play with his brother there. The2boys on the photo might be his brother and him from the judge of age.Because they had no idea what a camera is or who Liang Sicheng is,they have no impression on this photo.But their memory about the ’Yanghe building’is lively. Actually,Wang Huancheng doesn’t know that this ancient city has attracted the whole world’attention at earlier time. These photos taken in 1901 by a French churchman are the earlist photo of Zhengding we can find. Pityfully,it recorded Chinese people’s shame. The revelution in 1900, the Eight-Power Allied Forces invaded in BeiJing and the escape of queen mother CiXi and Guangxu emperor.In 1901,Gemaney and French allied forces captured Zhengding .The French commander in chief Bahrain and Yiding monk promised to be brothers and took photos for memorial. The ancient buildings in Zhengding have won concentrations of photographers all over the world in the early years of the Republic of China.The 4 towers of Zhengding have been printed on postcards and been released overseas. This is a famous germaney photographer,called Heda.Morrison.As a contracted foreign photographer,she took 35 precious photos for Zhengding with women’s unique sensitixity and care. These black-and-white photographs taken at th beginning of last century recorded the clear look of ancient buildings in Zhengding.They don’t only remain history ,but also reveal a truth of history: It is not hard to find out that most of Zhengding’s ancient buildings were destroyed deeply at that time. After the establishment of new China,the govenor of Hebei Province –Yang Xiufeng came to Zhengding to observe the ancient buildings .He ordered to protect these national treasure.From that day on,Zhengding set up heritage conservation unit which is the predecessor of Zhengding heritage conservation office to shoulder the reaponsibility of protecting and collecting heritages. Because of their efforts,The number of Zhengding’heritage reached to 7672 which listed on the top of our counties.

　　Our country listed Zhengding Longxing temple,Guanghuisihua temple,Kaiyuan temple and other 8 heritages as national heritage conservation units and invested lots of money on remending. Dabei attic is the main structure of Longxing temple.

　　Our country spent 32million on its mend from 1997 to 1999 which made it the most expensive mending project after the Potala Palace. After remending ,Dabei attic regained its stucture in Song Dynasty and its grandiosity. At the same time,an operation which aimed to protect the ancient city and regain historical siaht in Zhangding was put on action.Zhengding put on every effort to rebuilt Changle gate and a series of ancient buildings and a historical street. All cadres in this county donated a month’s salary and citizens all donated money and clothes.Some villigers broke own houses’bricks off and took them to the biulding site. This grand gate is filled with sweat and loveof Zhengding people. Zhengding ancient city regain project was put to action again in 2011.

　　According to the budget,this project will take 10 years and cost 10 billion RMB. Zhengding people build this beautiful ancient city with deligence and intalligence.They protect this beautiful ancient city with love and emotion.
