1. Read only the first sentence of a paragraph 只讀每段第一句話
Good writers begin each paragraph with a key statement that tells you what that paragraph is about. By reading only the first sentence, you can determine if the paragraph has information you need to know.
高水平的作者會(huì)在段首用中心句說(shuō)明段落大意。只要閱讀第一句話你就能判斷這段話是否有你需要了解的信息。
2. Skip to the last sentence of the paragraph 直接跳到段落尾句
The last sentence in a paragraph should also contain clues for you about the importance of the material covered. The last sentence often serves two functions -- it wraps up the thought expressed and provides a connection to the next paragraph.
段落尾句也會(huì)提示你這段材料涵蓋的重要信息。它通常有兩種功能：承上和啟下。
3. Read phrases 以短語(yǔ)為單位閱讀
Move your eyes quickly over each line and look for phrases and key words. Your mind will automatically fill in the words between.
快速瀏覽每一行，找出短語(yǔ)和關(guān)鍵詞即可，你的大腦會(huì)自動(dòng)幫你補(bǔ)充剩下的部分。
4. Ignore the little words 忽略小詞
Ignore the little words like it, to, a, an, and, be -- you know the ones. You don't need them. Your brain will see these little words without acknowledgment.
忽略諸如it, to, a, an, and, be這種代詞、介詞、冠詞等，你太熟悉它們了，完全不需要它們，你的大腦會(huì)幫你識(shí)別。
5. Look for key points 尋找要點(diǎn)
Look for key points while you're reading for phrases. You are probably already aware of the key words in the subject you're studying. They pop out at you. Spend a little more time with the material around those key points.
以短語(yǔ)為單位閱讀時(shí)要關(guān)注要點(diǎn)。很可能你已經(jīng)意識(shí)到了所讀文章的關(guān)鍵詞，它們會(huì)在閱讀過(guò)程中跳到你眼前。多花點(diǎn)時(shí)間在要點(diǎn)附近的詞句上。
6. Mark key thoughts in the margins 在頁(yè)邊寫(xiě)出中心思想
If the book is yours, mark key thoughts in the margins or slap one little sticky tab on the page with a short note. When it's time to review, simply read through your tabs.

7. Read with good posture 保持良好的閱讀姿勢(shì)

8. Practice, practice, practice 練習(xí)練習(xí)再練習(xí)
