英文求職信通常包括五個組成部分：寫信動機、自我介紹、本人能力、結尾、附件。 寫求職信的過程本身也就反映出了你的外語水平，故應盡量做到語言規范、符合外文習慣，減少語法錯誤。
求職信如何獲得面試機會
一、表現個人特色
求職的信件要具個人特色、親切且能體現出專業水平。切不可過于隨意，也不能拘泥于格式——商業信函應該是一種既正式、又非正式的文體。句子結構和長度應富于變化，使閱信人總保持興趣。內容、語氣、用詞的選擇和對希望的表達要積極，應該充分顯示出你是一個樂觀、有責任心、有創造力和通情達理的人。
二、表達簡潔
語言表達要簡潔明了，避免使用太多的專業術語和過分複雜的句子。一方面用人單位不會在一份簡歷 上花費太多的時間;另外一個方面，簡潔的語言表述也能體現出你珍惜他人的時間。
三、切忌全英文
一國企招聘負責人介紹說，有的求職者在自己的簡歷里，英文材料比中文材料多，其實只有該職位需要使用英語，用人單位才會注重應聘者的外語水平及表達能力。了解應聘單位基本情況，在簡歷中表現出自己對該單位親和、仰慕，也會使招聘負責人感興趣，增大求職的成功率。
四、表現能力
如果你是IT人才，在簡歷中詳細描述你的IT技能和項目經驗是很重要的，當你描述項目經驗時，一定要特別將該項目的軟、硬件環境、開發工具寫清楚，并詳細描述你在該項目中的具體職責。如果你是高級人才，業績能充分證明你的能力和價值，請詳細描述你取得的業績的具體內容。但是，不要說假話。

I will graduate in June in electronical engineering and hope to start my career at that time. During the past four years I have had a good deal of academic experience in communication technology.
