Dear sir or madam,
Thank you for reading my letter. My name is Lanni Wang. I am a girl from a small city named Hunchun of Jilin province, China. My father is the Manager of Hunchun city supply and marketing cooperative, and my mother is a senior agronomist of the Agriculture Council.
I was graduated from Yanbian NO.2 highschool in July,2008.And then I get into the Financial Department of Jilin University of Finance and Economic later the same year and will graduate in July of 2012. Jilin University of Finance and Ecnomic was founded together by the government of Jilin province and State Administration of Taxation,which is ranking 21st in Financial and Economic Institutions all over the country in 2011.
I believe that finance is kind of Esoteric academic throughout the operation of the world. In today's society, no one can live without money, finance has become extremely important, as the shadow follows the form. I am very interested in finance, and that’s why I chose finance as my major. During my study an university, I’ve got the First-level Certificate for Qualifications of securities in China, Qualifications of accountant's practice qualification certificates and Futures practice qualification certificate. I once used my mother's account to practice investing stocks on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, I bought 1000 shares of ABC at the break time, then 1000 shares at low prices, and 1000 shares of ICBC, 300 shares of Shenzhen Development Bank, 200 shares of Huaxia Bank , 100 shares of CBC to spread risk, an four stocks are profitable so far. And the reason to select the banks’ stocks is based on China’s national condition. First of all, the banking system in China now is very strong, which will ensure that your funds will not be much of loss ; Second, China’s stock market is turning down in the recently years, stocks have tended to downwards. But the Agricultral Bank of China, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and the Construction Bank of China are all State-owned banks, which are supported by state policy. Buying them at the right time of the market, must be of robust profits from a long-term point of view.
I am a hard study person who always among the best grades. I’ve got six consecutive semesters at the University scholarship, and when I wrote this letter ,the school has not been decided the seventh semester scholarship list.
My parents are very strict but lovable on my education. So I’ve got a cheerful, brave character with strong sense of responsibility . I have been a teacher's right-hand man, once instead of teacher to continue the classes while my teacher had to go on a business trip. During university, I joined the learning department of Student Union, and became the minister in second years, as a sponsor we successfully held two session of school tournament-- the students' oral English competition and the business plan competition.
I sincerely hope that I can have the chance to study at your school, and after I get the master’s degree, I will go back to my motherland and take part in the In the area of the domestic financial industry, such as the occupation releted to international finance with the help of my ablity and knowledge about language and finace. I have great confidence in career prospects after study in your university.
