　　一般來說，GMAT短閱讀文章的呈現形式有兩種，一種是一段式的文章，另一種則分成兩段。對于一段式的文章來說，想要快速讀完全文找到重點，考生就必須把注意力集中在文章的段首部分。這是因為整篇文章的核心基本都會出現在文章前三句里。而短篇文章中不少題目為主旨題，只要考生能夠找到中心句，那么即使不讀完全文也能迅速解題。

　　2. 二段文章分析整體結構

　　比起一段式文章，短閱讀的兩段式文章需要關注的就不只是句首部分了。考生需要額外注意兩個段落之間的銜接部分，各種承接上下關系的連接詞和句子結構都有可能成為解題的關鍵。這是因為兩段式文章段落間一般都會存在邏輯關系，題目出題也大多圍繞這個考點進行，因此搞清楚段落結構對于考生來說是非常重要的。

Even a vastly more eco efficient industrial system could, were it to grow much larger, generate more total waste and destroy more habitat and species than would a smaller, less eco efficient economy. Senge and Carstedt argue that to preserve the global environment and sustain economic growth, businesses must develop a new systemic approach that reduces total material use and total accumulated waste. Focusing exclusively on eco efficiency, which offers a compelling business case according to established thinking, may distract companies from pursuing radically different products and business models.
